10 years on and I'm still enjoying modelling. With four adorable children 5 and under to feed - not forgetting a very hungry husband as well - making quick healthy tasty food means I can balance my work and home life....that's the plan anyway!! I'm happy to share my tried and tested favourite recipes with other parents. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do..... Love Gemma xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Warm Orange & Yogurt Dessert

Glen and I for once went out last night (Yippeee) to my super friends 30Th Birthday/Engagment Party! We had a ball it was fancy dress (check out the picture) Glen's Mum and Dad baby sat, Merina used every crafty 3 year old trick in the book and managed to stay up till 10:30pm watch X factor sat in between both Grandparents and have 5 stories read to her this is her PB! So today all tired we haven't even left the house. I have to say its been lovely!
I've made the girls this quickie Dessert. It tastes great is ready in minutes and the shops are full of Oranges and Satsumas this time of year.

Ingredients
  • As many oranges as people
  • 1 heaped tbsp of Demerara sugar per orange
  • Greek yogurt to serve with (If your feeling naughty it could be ice cream)
  • Pinch of Cinnamon per orange

Method

  1. Peel and cut through the oranges into thick pieces.
  2. Lay the orange pieces onto a baking tray, sprinkle over the sugar and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 c/Gas 6.
  3. Serve with the yogurt and sprinkle over the cinnamon. Yummy and ready in minutes!
